There's something for everyone along the Murray...

Many varieties of recreational watercraft were photographed meandering in moments of leisure or carving out fun.

The Murray is a playground for fishing, boating and exciting recreational activities.

Speed boats, wake boats, tinnies and jetskis were carving, racing and cruising along the river.

Strange hydrofoils were ridden like mammoth seahorses bouncing up and down in the river.

Canoes and kayaks regularly feature as one of the Murray’s favourite water activities.

Houseboats, speed boats, wake boats, tinnies, paddle steamers...

Paddle steamers, barges and paddle boats from large to small that ply the river are like viewing window into a time capsule of the yesteryear.

Both commercial and private paddle steamers were caught in their glory travelling full steam ahead up
and down the river with passengers perusing the scenery.

A myriad of tail riders ranging from skiers, knee boarders and enthralling tube rides carved multiple wakes
in the ordinarily serene waterscape.

Ski-boats carving up the water left wakes that made for useful jump ramps.

Some of the best light can come from the breaking of day or at night with lightening. Clouds and moisture can filter light to the infinite colour range of a rainbow.

A clear morning offers little for the sun’s rays to reflect upon. Yet the stark and clear morning sky can cast deep elongated shadows in contrast.
